HCR stands for Holy Culture Radio. We are a Christian internet radio network that provides to its listeners, quality Christian Hip Hop & R&P mixshows. We encourage you to find a mixshow you like, download it, turn up your speakers, and be edified!

WHAT WE PLAY:

On our mixshows you’ll hear a great number of songs that can be considered Christian by content. We also play a small number of songs created by artists who are Christians whose material doesn’t fall neatly into the Christian category. However, we are confident that all songs featured in our mixshows are permissible for believers to listen to. Furthermore, many of the projects provide a great deal of inspiration, edification, and were selected with the Christian listener in mind!

HOW DO I GET AIRPLAY ON HCR?

The first thing you’ll need to do is fill out our online waiver, allowing us to legally play your music royalty free. It’s really pretty simple. We don’t make money off the mix-shows; so there is no money to pay the artist(s). The amount of promotion you’ll get with HCR playing your music is FAR more valuable than any amount of radio royalties you’ll receive from BMI, ASCAP, or SESAC.  Trust us. We’ve asked around!

Next, you can...

1.) Send a CD with a track listing to all of the mixshow addresses displayed on the left. Make sure to also include any instrumentals and acapellas you may have for the material you are sending in. In addition to selected singles, your instrumentals and acapellas will be featured in our brand newly launched digital record pool!

2.) Send us 3-5 songs (DO NOT E-MAIL US LINKS TO THE SONGS! INCLUDE THEM AS ATTACHMENTS!) encoded at 192kbps in mp3 format to submithcrfm@gmail.com. Also include instrumental and acapella versions of the songs being submitted digitally.

*Make sure all mp3s are properly ID3 tagged. Filename should look something like this (artist name_song title_album title_.mp3

It’s important to understand that submitting your music does NOT guarantee airplay on HCR. All of our DJs have different tastes in music. Sending your music to all of our DJs greatly increases your chances of airplay.
